Dreams of the Tropical Youth Uganda employs a solution-based approach that supports change by developing solutions rather than dwelling on problems. With a solution-based approach, we work with a range of participatory techniques that acknowledge how our community is configured and what helps promote change by empowering young people to take appropriate responsibility for their lives.
Theory of Change
- IF our operations are sustainable, with strong links, networking and learning among partners and stakeholders, quality programming and functional systems; this will lead to a healthy, strong, vibrant and well-coordinated organization.
- IF other stakeholders can mobilize health services providers to participate in Adolescent and Reproductive Health Advocacy engagements and increase access to Reproductive Health Services and information; this will lead to resilient and proactive young people, able to make healthy and smart choices.
- IF we strengthen collaboration with the government health agencies on Adolescent and Youth Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights policies and regulatory frameworks; this will lead to responsive reproductive health institutions and pro-youth policies.
- THEN we shall realize a community where vulnerable rural young people lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
